What Novomatix support covers

Support is not limited to responding when an incident occurs. It covers the full operating cycle of an AMR/AGV system — from fast diagnostics through to preventive maintenance and recommendations for stable operation.

Remote diagnostics and support

Fast review of the context and the state of the system at a distance. Where the situation allows, the fix is made without travelling on site, shortening the time to restart.

On-site intervention

Attendance on site when a problem requires physical work on the robot, on transfer stations, on accessories or on connected infrastructure within the process.

Preventive maintenance

Scheduled periodic inspections and functional checks, to reduce the risk of unplanned stoppages and keep the system within the parameters defined at implementation.

Functional checks

Periodic checks of behaviour in operation, of calibrations, and of the key interfaces with the environment — transfer stations, buttons, signalling, traffic rules.

Post-commissioning support

Assistance after commissioning to stabilise operation, make fine adjustments to the real process, and respond to situations that appear as the system settles into the rhythm of production.

Operating recommendations

Concrete observations from operation, turned into recommendations for adjustment and optimisation, so the system stays matched to the customer's real flow.

How we work when a technical problem appears

We move quickly from a technical report to a clear diagnosis and an operational conclusion — then to the fix, without unnecessary steps.

  1. Taking the report and its context

    We record the technical context: what the system was doing, what was observed, which messages or codes appeared, and whether the situation repeated.

  2. Initial diagnosis

    A remote check of the system state, the relevant logs and the reported behaviour — to reach a clear technical hypothesis before any action in the field.

  3. Isolating the cause

    We establish whether the problem lies with the robot, the accessories, the connected infrastructure or a change in the flow logic — so the right type of intervention is chosen.

  4. Remote fix or on-site intervention

    Where it is possible, the fix is made remotely. Where it is not, we schedule an on-site intervention coordinated with the customer's team, around the real operating schedule.

  5. Confirming operation and preventive recommendations

    We confirm the return to stable operation and, where relevant, pass on concrete recommendations to prevent the situation from recurring.

Planned maintenance and safety checks

Stable operation of an AMR/AGV system does not come from equipment quality alone. It also comes from the rhythm with which the system is checked and maintained. Planned maintenance reduces the risk of unplanned stoppages and keeps the system within the parameters defined at implementation.

Safety checks look at how the system actually behaves in operation and at the integrity of the relevant components — so the robots continue to work coherently in the areas where they interact with people, equipment and the flow.

Post-commissioning & expansion

Support after commissioning and for expansion

Commissioning is not an end point. After go-live, AMR/AGV systems evolve along with the customer's real flow — new areas appear, additional stations, adjustments to pace, or fleet expansion. Novomatix support covers this long-term phase.

Throughout operation we act both to fix and recalibrate and to support expansion — so the system stays coherent with the process rather than merely functional in isolation. That is how an operational partnership is built, rather than a response to incidents.
